A change to the Victorian-NSW border `bubble’ brought in by the Victorian Government is likely to disrupt communities in the Finley, Jerilderie and Deniliquin areas.
The Victorian Government has moved Murrumbidgee Shire (which includes Coleambally, Jerilderie and Darlington Point) out of the border bubble zone and into the “extreme risk zone” in its latest update of COVID-19 restrictions.
Residents who live in Jerilderie will need a Specified Worker Permit, transit permit, or an exemption to enter Victoria.
The Victorian Government said those who attempted to enter Victoria without an exception or exemption or eligible permit would be fined $5452 and could be sent back or placed in hotel quarantine for 14 days at their own…
