As part of Compost Awareness Week between May 2 and 8, Wingecarribee Council is holding a number of activities at the Moss Vale Resource Recovery Centre to promote the benefits of composting.

Last year’s bin audit showed more than half our rubbish is made up of food and garden waste that can be recycled.

Council’s Waste Education Officer, Phoebe Ward says they want to reduce the amount of waste which is sent to landfill.

Given the limited number of places, bookings are essential.
