Council managed sports fields closed | Southern Highland News

Wingecarribee Shire Council has closed all council-managed sports fields scheduled for Saturday May 8 following continued heavy overnight rain. Read also: Bowral’s Walter Scott proud of contribution in Bulls debut The closure affects all council-managed sports fields across the Shire for Saturday only and is effective immediately. The temporary closure does not affect the Welby Hockey Centre or Eridge Park Netball court facilities which remain open with a caution. A further assessment will be undertaken late Friday May 7 to reassess conditions for possible recommencement of Sunday play.
