Mittagong pool impacted by heavy rainfall | Southern Highland News




Heavy overnight rainfall has again impacted Mittagong Swimming Pool which had been closed since mid-December when floodwaters forced the early summer closure of the pool. Read also: $2.5m now available for regional NSW business events and tourism marketing The damage sustained to the pool from the December storms resulted in superficial damage to the main pool structure and surrounding amenities. The council staff are yet to determine the additional impact on the facility, including the pool structure, from this week’s heavy rainfall event.
