Illawarra residents have been warned to stay on high alert for COVID-19 symptoms after a new case and more venues of concern were identified today.
- New COVID-19 venues of concern in Wollongong and Dapto are added to the exposure list
- Kiama MP Gareth Ward wants Sydney tradespeople banned from the regions
- Shellharbour MP Anna Watson has demanded a testing clinic in Dapto after exposure sites were listed there
Five cases have been detected in the Illawarra this week, including today’s. Six more exposure sites have been identified in the region.
Authorities said the latest case, a resident of Wollongong, was linked to the Sydney outbreak but not the other current cases in the region.
The person is reported to be in isolation…
