New South Wales reports 935 new COVID-19 cases and four virus-related deaths




New South Wales has reported fewer than 1000 new local cases of COVID-19 for the first time in nearly a month – but the premier warns we “can’t read too much into this”.

There were 935 new cases reported in the 24 hours to 8pm on Sunday.

Four virus-related deaths were recorded in reporting period, two men in their 60s and a man and a woman in their 80s.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian said October was still shaping up to be the worst month in relation to the burden on the state’s hospital…
