Sylvia David’s mostly native Bundanoon garden is one of two country town gardens in our new issue. It includes this bottlebrush species (Callistemon purpurascens), which she and her son, Steve Douglas, discovered in the Blue Mountains. Sylvia’s half acre garden is filled with flowering natives, fruit trees, berries, vegetables and herbs. To join her propagators’ group mailing list for seasonal information about available plants to increase the food and habitat value of your garden, email [email protected]
